Maribel Cluster Hoop Earrings

Maribel is a Spanish name that means bright, and the earring earns it twice over. At the lobe sits a cluster of seven round lab grown diamonds arranged as a small flower, one stone at the heart and six around it. Below the bloom, two concentric circles of pave set rounds open outward and downward, the inner one smaller, the outer one following its curve, so that when the earring is on, the ear appears to be circled by two rings of light. At 14 millimetres across and under 5 millimetres deep, it is a front facing hoop that behaves like a stud.

Fifty years of Surat pave setting are what keep seventy small stones this evenly bright. The pair carries 1.15 carats across seventy laboratory-grown diamonds, VVS-VS clarity and D-E-F colour, IGI and SGL certified, in BIS hallmarked 14k or 18k gold in rose, white or yellow, or in 925 silver.
