Avril is a toi et moi stripped to essentials. Two pear cut lab grown diamonds, 1.15 carats each, sit at the open ends of a slim, plain band with their points turned toward each other and a whisper of space between. Pears give a flash at the point and a glow at the curve, and two of them facing make a shape that reads from across a room as a pair. The name is French for April, the month things begin.

Fifty years of Surat diamond craft go into matching two pears so closely they could be twins. Avril carries 2.3 carats of laboratory-grown diamonds across two pear cut stones, VVS-VS clarity and D-E-F colour, IGI and SGL certified. The head measures 9.65 mm by 24 mm. Made in BIS hallmarked 9k, 14k or 18k gold in rose, white or yellow finishes.
