Lorelei is the river spirit whose song stopped boats, and this brooch is designed to stop conversation. Three petals paved with round pink lab grown sapphires open around a heart of lab grown diamonds, and a diamond stem curves upward carrying five pear cut sapphire buds. 1.91 carat of laboratory-grown diamonds and 7.02 carat of lab grown pink sapphires, IGI and SGL certified, in BIS hallmarked 14k or 18k white gold. Pinned where a lapel meets the light.
The Lorelei Sapphire Flower Brooch is a bloom and its stem, worked in two colours of light. Three broad petals are set solid with 160 round lab grown pink sapphires, and a cluster of round lab grown diamonds marks the flower's heart. From behind the flower a stem of diamond pave rises and bends, and along it five pear cut pink sapphires are set as buds.
The 90 lab grown diamonds were cut and set in Surat, where fifty years of family diamond craft govern every pave bead. They total 1.91 carat of laboratory-grown diamonds, graded VVS-VS clarity and D-E-F colour and certified by IGI and SGL. The pink sapphires, 165 stones in all, weigh 7.02 carat combined. The brooch measures roughly 39 mm by 57 mm and is made in BIS hallmarked 14k or 18k white gold, with a pin fitting on the back.
