Rosalie Sapphire Flower Necklace

The Rosalie Sapphire Flower Necklace is a garland rather than a pendant. At the centre a flower of six pear cut lab grown pink sapphires opens around a diamond heart, and on either side of it a flower of pear and marquise cut lab grown diamonds does the same in white. Further up the chain, two smaller diamond blooms sit at the collarbone, and between all of them round pink sapphires are bezel set into the chain like buds.

The 27 lab grown diamonds were cut in Surat, where fifty years of family craft go into matching pear and marquise petals so a flower looks grown rather than assembled. They total 6.84 carat of laboratory-grown diamonds, graded VVS-VS clarity and D-E-F colour and certified by IGI and SGL. The ten pink sapphires weigh 4.4 carat. The central flower measures about 19 mm across, and the necklace is made in BIS hallmarked 14k or 18k white gold.
